Executive Assistant, Chicago, IL(Hybrid)
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Human Resources Officer is a key partner responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and strategic priorities of the CHRO and HR leadership team. This role plays a critical part in keeping the function running smoothly by managing executive communications, coordinating high-level initiatives, and ensuring seamless collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Manage calendars for the CHRO, including scheduling internal and external meetings, board interactions, and leadership engagements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reporting for the CHRO
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and reports for executive meetings.
- Support the planning and coordination of HR leadership meetings, off-sites, and departmental initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between HR leadership and other departments.
- Handle highly sensitive HR and employee information with strict confidentiality.
- Maintain organized and secure documentation related to HR initiatives and executive materials.

- Manage special projects for the CHRO and HR leadership team.
- Assist in tracking progress of key HR initiatives and departmental priorities.
- Support coordination of company-wide HR communications, events, and leadership meetings.
- Help maintain HR reporting dashboards and administrative processes.
- Build strong relationships with executive assistants across the organization to facilitate coordination among leadership teams.
- Represent the HR office professionally and maintain a high level of service and responsiveness.
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience supporting a senior executive, preferably in Human Resources or corporate leadership environments. Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment supporting senior leadership.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
- Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with HR systems and tools is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Business sense – has a strong business sense and can decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when needed.
